With the baseball season just three days from being finished, the team from the North side of Chicago, are ONE game from clinching a playoff berth. For the second time in the millennium, they WILL win the National League Central Title. This is a great accomplishment, since they have only won the division title, three times in 30 years, and that is my whole life time.
Is this the year the curse is finally broken? Do we get our hopes up, only to be shot down again? Is the hitting line up and pitching staff good enough to win the world series? Is Lou Pinella the savior of the Cubs?
I am going to end this post with a little song............. "Take me out to the ball game, Take me out with the crowd. Buy me some peanuts and Cracker Jack,I don't care if I never get back, Let me root, root, root for the Cubbies,If they don't win it's a shame. For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out, At the old ball game." Labels: Chicago Cubs, Lou Pinella, Take me out to the ball games, World Series |
