Former OJ Simpson Attorney and Friend Mike Gilbert, states that Simpson confessed to murdering his ex wife weeks after he was found not guilty. Gilbert stated that they were setting around O.J's hours and he said he went to the door not with the intent to kill her and she would still be alive if Nicole would not of brought the knife to the door with him.

Gilbert also stated in his up and coming book he told the Juice to quit taking his arthritis medicine so that his hands would swell, leading to the famous line in the trail by Johnny Cochran "If the Glove Don't Fit! You Must acquit." Why would a man like this want to help OJ. He is in it for the Money.

What is are country coming to? This shows that if you have money you can get away with anything. It is not fair! Does anyone out there feel that we should retry OJ for the Murder? I would really like to let Ron Goldman to be in a room with OJ alone and do what ever he wanted! Don't anyone else agree?

Die Hard New York Yankee fan Ivonne Hernandez is being charged with reckless second degree murder, aggravated driving while intoxicated and two counts of reckless conduct. Harnandez was in a bar full of Red Sox fans, when a couple of guys at the bar started heckling her. She got up and left and the guys kept at her and she got in her car and proceeded to leave and backed into the guys to give the a scare. One of the guys flew 48 feet in the air and the other suffered minor injuries after getting hit. She is being held with out bail.

When does heckling go to far? I feel that this is way to to far to kill someone over. Does anyone out there have any other Heckling stories that they have seen go far?

Hollywood Hulk Hogan Son Jailed for 8 months

Nick Hogan, son of WWE Wrestler Hulk Hogan was sentenced today to 8 months in prison and 5 years probation for driving recklessly and crashing his car. His passenger in the car is paralyzed for the rest of his life. The accident occurred when Nick Hogan decided to get behind the wheel and drive at a high rate of speed, after a night of drinking. He faced up to 8 years in jail for driving recklessly, a blood alcohol level of .02, and underage consumption of Alcohol.

If this would of been me I would have gone to prison for 8 years. But, since his dad has money he was able to get off with a slap on the hand. What makes this fair? I was young and stupid once too. Why Should he get off with that? I think that he should have to do hard time. It is not fair that since he has money he can get off. I don't think he deserves to ever get his license back. What are your thoughts? Am I being to Harsh?

I heard on Espn Radio over the weekend that Kobe Bryant won the MVP or as the Chicago Bulls Super Fans called it in the 90's the Michael Vice President. What did Kobe do that Lebron James, Kevin Garrett, or even Chris Paul did not do? Kobe is on a team that has great roll players, Chris Paul has a good cast and so does Kevin Garrett. But who other than Lebron James do the Cleveland Cav's have? If you took Lebron off of the Cav's they are not a playoff team. If you took Kobe off the Lakers they could still be a playoff team. So in my mind I do not feel that he deserves it.

I would like to know what everyone out there thinks?

As I am sitting here trying to find something interesting to write about, I come across an article about my main man Michael Jordan. In the late 1980's the Detroit Pistons got tired of be torched by mike for 49,47,61, and 49 points that Chuck Daily had told his team that when Jordan gets the ball go after him. No matter what it takes. This did work until Jordan got Scottie Pippen. Daily decided that they would try to stop Pippen and Jordan lit them up for 59 points.

Fast forward to now. Do you think any team has a game plan to do this verse any players from today? I feel that none of the players of today players play at a level that Michael Jordan plays at. Jordan could due with the jump shot or he was going to dunk on you. He also brought his game to a new level with his outstanding defense.

Roger Clemens: Steriods, Cheating and Baseball

After a couple weeks of hearing that Roger Clemens was on Steroids and that he lied to the grand jury, it is now being reports that he had an on going affair with a country singer. The girl in question was 15 years old when they met and guess what he is denying this too. Roger how much more denying can you do? You say you didn't do roids, you say that were not at a party at Jose Canseco's house. Roger your a liar and a cheater and frankly you are a disgrace to the Yankee pinstripes. I hope you wear the Red Sox's Cap proud when you go into the Hall of Fame. You do not deserve your World Series Ring or the Car that gave back and I wish that Mike Piazza would of knocked you out when you threw the bat at him in your Roid Rage!

Roger in my book you are a disgrace to baseball and to your family. You Cheated and lied about it. Pete Rose may have bet while he was a manager and is ban for life you need to be banned too, but since your not a real man and will not stand up and say sorry I made a mistake forgive me you are a piece of crap.

Brett Favre: Retired?

Brett Favre was on David Letterman last night and the way I took it is that he left the door open for a return to the NFL. He did state that he has not filed the the paper work. He said nothing about enjoying retirement or that he is going to miss playing the game of football. He did say that he will see what happens around the time of training Camp in July. Which brings me to the conclusion that he may return next season to ploay in the NFL. Would he play some where else? that was not a question that was asked, but he did say that Aaron Rodgers is the starting QB.

A follow up on a Madden Curse Strikes again Brett Farve is on the Cover on Madden 09. So does get rid of the curse? If he comes back is this a challenge to show that it is not a curse to be on the cover? I guess we will find out in July!

With the Madden Curse striking again, this time on Shaun Alexander. Seattle cut him yesterday to go with two running backs that have not proven themselves yet. He lead the team to the superbowl the year before. The question I ask is who will it be this year?

Tony Romo: The reason is He can spend more time with Jessica Simpson, since he will be hurt.

Jay Cutler: I would like to see another Denver QB break the curse.

NFL Draft talk

With the NFL Draft coming up this weekend I have been going to different sites looking to see which player will go where. Fox sports draft board has stuck to what they have said at the beginning. They have the top players of the draft being Darren McFadden at running back, Matt Ryan at QB, Offensive Tackle Jack Long will be the first player taken in the draft. Hall of Famer Howie Long's son Chris, could go as high and the number 2 pick in the draft or fall to the Raiders at 4. The only think I really do not see in this draft is a go to wide receiver.

If I were to start a team and would be drafting I would building up my Offensive line and then get a QB later in the draft cause First round QB's usually do not live up to the hype. IF you were to start a team what position would you look at first and Why?

On foxnews there is an article called U.S,. Sex Laws, Amusing to Just Plain Silly. It caught my eye because I wanted to know what the Sex Laws are. Here is a few examples:

— If you’re in Idaho, you’re not allowed to engage in any type of public display of affection for more than 18 minutes.

— In Iowa, you've got a five-minute time limit to make out. But that’s an eternity when you consider that it’s illegal to smooch for more than one second if you’re in Halethorpe, Md.

Kansas or Oklahoma State? Bill Self has decision to make.

Bill Self just lead the Kansas Jayhawks to the NCAA Title for the first time since 1988. Oklahoma State has fired there coach and have said that they are going to make a run at Self. Oklahoma State is his almater, but they are not one of the top jobs to take in the country. So Self is caught between a rock and a hard place. Anyone knows that if you had a chance to go back and be the general of where your career started you would jump at it. But, how do you leave a job that you have have the tools to get big time recruits too? I would say to stay were your at, in turn though it would be a really tough choice. What would you do if you had this scenario come about?

NCAA Final Four Weekend!

With the NCAA Final Four games being played this weekend I want to pose a question to everyone. Who is everyone pulling for. I feel the NC vs. Kansas game is going to be really interesting. It will be fun to watch Roy Williams vs Bill Self. With this being Williams for team it will be a close match up. Memphis vs UCLA is going to be a fun one to watch too. Everyone is talking about how Memphis cannot hit free throws. I am going to give Coach Cal the Benefit of the doubt, that they have been practicing them all week. My predictions is going to be NC vs Memphis with Memphis winning by a point.

The 2008 Major League Baseball season could be a really interesting one. The are many questions flying around about many different things in the league. Will this be the year that he Chicago Cubs end the curse? What team will Barry Bonds end up on? Can the New York Yankees win with A Rod? How will Joe Torre do in Los Angeles? That is just to name a few that I will be giving you answers to in the next week. I myself think that the Yankees are going to win it all again. They have retooled there pitching staff with young arms, but still have veteran leadership to take them to the promise land.

My World Series predication is going to be the Chicago Cubs vs. the New York Yankees. With the Yankees winning in 6 and closing the door of Yankee Stadium in style.

What a first day of the tournament. The first set of games were all blow outs. The night cap was fun to watch. The first game I watch that I was really looking forward to being a good game was the Kansas St vs USC. OJ Mayo vs. Michael Beasley, what a match up it was too. Even though Beasley had 2 fouls quick in the first half, he still out shined Mayo. I fell that Mayo is over rated. he needs to stay in college at least another year or two. Beasley is the real deal. He can shoot, rebound, and get his team involved.

Is there any game that you out there where really impressed with in turn or not impressed with and why?

In a couple of weeks at Wrestlemania 24 boxer Floyd MayWeather Jr, will step in to the Wrestling ring against the 7 foot 1, 430 pound giant "The Big Show". I know that Wrestling is a written Script, but how far do these two really take it. Mayweather has already broken the Shows nose. Mayweather is also getting sum of 20 million dollars for the the appearance. Whe does fake become real. Is Mayweather going to work the crowd a little, while the big show chases him around the ring? Or will the Show lay him out cold?

I feel that nobody that has not wrestled before is worth 20 million dollars. I think that if they do make this even close to the main event, Vince McMahon is out of his mind. I would rather see the Rock come back and work the crowd than a boxer that is going to get is Ass beat by the golden boy Oscar De La Hoya in there next fight.

I would like to say now that the Pittsburgh Steelers have been cheated out of 2 superbowl rings that should be there's. The Patriots are a team that I fully disrespect. They cheated to win so they do not deserve any of ther superbowl rings. Sentor Spector stated the games that were filmed were the two AFC Title games and two regular season games. Tom Brady is not a great Quarterback in my book now cause he knew what defense was coming at him and was able to adjust and make himself look good. Proof is show in this year's superbowl, if the patriots had the Giants Signals that they would of won and Tom Brady would of hooked up with Randy Moss on more than once for a touchdown pass.

So to all of you out there that think Tom Brady is great, he is not, he is a liar and a cheater and does not deserve any of the rings that he has gotten.

I have not seen anything or read much about the up coming season but I am going to throw my two cents in since the Daytona 500 is tomorrow. First up I hope Jeff Gordon Crashes, 2nd I like to see Ford drivers do well and lastly I would like to see Dale Jr start to drive like his dad.

I think it is going to be a really good race. It should be close maybe Tony Stewart will keep his cool and make it fun to watch. Why would he do that I would do anything to win too out on the track.

Dale Jr is getting a fresh start with a lot of pressure off his back, by switching over from DEI and hopefully this will bring him out of the shawdow of his ledgenday father Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Turning Focus

Now that the NFL Season is over it is time to turn my attention to a couple of other sports. First up will be Nascar Superbowl the Daytona 500. Stories leading into this race wil be how does Dale Earnhardt JR fitt in with his new team? Can Jimmy Johnson go out strong running for a 3rd year in a row? Is Tony Stewart ready to show everybody that he can be the face of Nascar? Lastly will Jeff Gordon come out of the closet?

NCAA Basketball is about to get really good really fast. Memphis is a team on a mission. They are lead by a point guard from Iliinois who is on his way to being a first round draft pick in the NBA. What I am really looking forward to is the Field of 64 to be picked. Question that can be answered is what Mid Major can make a run? Can Kansas finally get over the hump with all the talent? Which Coach is the first let go after the Season?

In the NBA the story to follow is does Shaq Oneal stay on a team that is not very good or is he traded to a team that is needing big man to get over the hump and win and NBA Title?

Coach Bobby Knight says that he is tired and that it is time to walk away. But why not after the season? Why Now? A man known for his temper is one of the greatest basketball minds of all time. Who in there right mind would of thought that the final score would be 17 to 14? Not in my Wildest Dreams did I see the game being that low of a score. I felt that the Patriots would run the table and it would be over at half time. Shows how much I know. I feel this was won of the best football games that I have seen in a long time. I would like to Congradulate Superbowl MVP Eli Manning for playing such a great game and stunning all of his critics. So the saying is that 16 and 0 dont mean a thing now that the Patriots dont have the Ring!!! In Closing I want to make a predication for next year. I feel this week has been one quite week for a Superbowl. The only big story coming out this week, besides britney spears finally being put into a looney bin, Plaxico Burress predictation before they left for Arizona. I am really pulling for Randy Moss and the Boys to bring the Giants back to Earth. So is this going to be as close as the Democratic Presidential Race or is it going to be a land slide and are the Patriots going to Rain Supreme again? I am going to go on my Predication at the Beginning of the year and say it is going to be Patriots winning with Randy Moss winning the MVP. In Round up I do feel sorry for Britney and yes I feel that if this does not help her she will end up killing her self. Thought from out there in the Sports World? let me know what you think?

There were reports in the news yesterday that Tom Brady was seen wearing a Walking Cast boot on his leg! The report did not say why though? Was he hurt in the AFC title game and not tell anyone? Is this a stunt to draw a story line for the Superbowl? I think he is human like everyone else and does get hurt. I think that he is put on such a high pedestal this season that the press will use anything to come up with a reason to have a bad game. I would love to know if you out there think that Brady is Superman and did they find his Cryptonite? Or is he like the rest of us? I really would like to know what the Aura is behind him that makes everyone thinks he is a God?

Wild Weekend Pre Superbowl wrap up.!!

The Superbowl Match up is set and if you look at it I was close to having the right teams in it. In the AFC I the Patriots. I wish I would of picked them to go undefeated but couldn't. In the NFC I had the Right Division but wrong team. I still have to go with the Pat's in the bowl. I think the Giants have the tools to win, but Brady and foe are on a mission. I still think Randy Moss will win the MVP. He is going to show why he is a game changer. I love the turn around that he has made.

In the NFC I feel Brett will ride again for a 19th season. I think that Dallas proved they could be for real and I think that you have to watch out for the Saints to coming Marching in again Next year. The Bears have finally made the right choice in letting Kyle Orton compete for the starting job. I think that Philly has alot of problems to address and I think that Arizona could be the real deal if they get good QB play.

In the AFC I think that the Patriots will rise again. I do not think anyone will beat them right away. I feel the Chargers have a really good thing to build on now that they got the monkey of losing in the playoffs off there back. The colts will be great again no matter who there coach is and the Tuna will lead Miami back to the Process Land. Last but not least next year will be the year the steelers get back to the Superbowl. I will make a final wrap up of team needs after the Superbowl.

Welcome the time has come to pick the Superbowl. I have been going back and forth all week on who I would like to see in the Superbowl. Do I want a rematch of the 97 game? Do I want to see a boring defense match up? Do I want to see a blow out? I feel I want to see a rematch and that is what I am sticking too. So I feel it is going to be the team of the 90's versus the Team of 2000.
I will stick with the Patriots vs. Packers. With the Patriots winning and Randy Moss winning the MVP.

Hello everyone out there in the sports world. I have taken a little break from blogging to focus on Family and the Holiday's. Plus, I would of been one sided in picking games, being a Steelers fan. Check out Sleepnbeauty's blog for the insight to game day on a A True Fan. Lots going on in the sports world, since I left. First off I would like to congratulate the New England Patriots for going Undefeated. Also, I feel Randy Moss should of been MVP not Tom Brady. Tony Romo aka Tony Homo decides to take off the last month of the season and date the blond bimbo Jessica Simpson. Loses and important game to the Philadelphia Eagles with her in attendance. Plus, the Cowboys have now won a playoff game in 11 years and Romo is down in Mexico with the idiot, instead of preparing for a game. To bad Peyton Manning has to go shot more commerical while his brother Eli is playing the most important game of his life. San Diego finally gets to were everyone thought they should of been the last two years. I am not in the quoting game right now but I am seeing an upset in the AFC. I would like to see and Green Bay vs New England Superbowl, but I think that a Green Bay vs San Diego would be better. Stay tune I will give you my break down later in the week.

I am glad to see then Illini football made the Rose Bowl a game for at least 3 quarters. I watched a lot of good college football on New Years Day! I think it is time for the NCAA to finally go to a Playoff system to pick the winner. I think that USC would of ended up winning the whole thing. I am a big Pete Carroll Fan. He is a class act.

What else is going on, Shaq and the Miami Heat are the Worst team in the NBA, The Chicago Bulls fire Scott Skiles and Lebron James gets pulled over for speeding. I will do a follow up to all in the NBA and my thoughts.

Peter Edward Rose Sr aka Charlie Hustle broke into Major League Baseball on April 8, 1963. He started the season hitless going 0 for a 11. He got his first hit on April 13, 1963 against the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the rest is history, as they say in Hollywood. But, this is not Hollywood, this is real world. Charlie Hustle received his nick name, because he played the game at the highest level, he would do what ever it takes to win, except cheat. In the 1970 all star game, Rose was involved in one of the greatest scoring plays of all time. With the game on the line, Rose came around third determine to score. Pete lowered his shoulder and barreled catcher Ray Fosse to score the game winning running. Rose also is the only player in his era to come close to the 56 game hitting streak, by hitting safely in 44 games. Rose went on to break Ty Cobb's record of 4192 on September 11, 1985. He went on to end his career with 4,256 hits, a record that still stands today. He retired from the game unofficially on November 11, 1986. He went on to manage the Cincinnati Reds. He was banned from the game of baseball for gambling in 1989. He has since admitted to gambling on his team to win, but never threw any games. This is keeping him out of the baseball hall of fame.

I feel he should be inducted into the baseball hall of fame based on his stats on the field. Not from the mistakes as a manager. If they let the players that did Steroids and HGH into the Hall why not Rose? What is fair about a player that cheats to beef his stats? I would love to here all your thoughts and opinions!

Terrell Owens sent a message out this week to Keyshawn Johnson. Stating that he would not be the 4Th best receiver on the team. TO needs to learn to shut his mouth and let his game do the talking. Randy Moss is making TO look like a Pop Warner play. TO is not the the same league as a Keyshawn Johnson, Randy Moss, Jerry Rice, or even Hines Ward. I would Draft any of those players before I drafted TO. Why you ask yourself cause he is a big mouth that pulls down the team. I know you think that I am crazy but he is a Cancer. What a bad day for baseball. I have started to skim through the info and really have not generated an opinion. Before I do I wound to look over the report. I am not surprised how long the report is. I would say I have to agree with the findings. Everyone new it was a problem and just over looked it. I know Jose Canseco did cause he admitted it. To me that shows he is a man and admits he was wrong. Why cant players such as Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa, to name a few do the same? My thought is that they are not in the game for the fans. They are all about making money and could care less about the fans. That is just my opinion. Is there any names on list that were a Surprise? Was ther in other news on the report that was shocking?

George Mitchell to announce Results of Steroid Probe!

Former Senate majority leader, George Mitchell, has called a press conference Thursday at 1 pm central time. He plans to announce how big of a problem steroids is. I feel that if they punish anybody for using roids before they were illegal in baseball is wrong. I can see if they punish those that are on them now is good. I feel that it was good for the game of baseball. I feel that the home run records would not of been broken. I am really interested in seeing what players are going to be named. At least Jason Giambi was man enough to admit he did it. Where as Mark McGwire pleaded the 5Th amendment, which keeps you from saying your guilt or innocent. I am really looking forward to reading the results. Is any one else? Does any one feel that now baseball with be tainted forever?

Randy Moss has now been in the league for 9 seasons now. He was drafted by the Minnesota Viking in 1998. He was considered a troubled player coming out of college, he was passed up by 20 other teams. In Minnesota, Cris Carter took him under his wing and taught him the lessons of the league. He was named Rookie of the Year and selected to the Pro Bowl. He was traded to the Oakland Raiders in 2005. He did not do anything there but cause trouble cause they were a bad team. In 2007 he was traded to the New England Patriots were he has made Tom Brady look great. Moss is going to surpass the record for the most TD's caught in an season. He has even helped take a team to a 13 and 0 record and lead the team to a Superbowl. Randy Moss in my book is this year's MVP. He is amazing and can do it all. He is not scared to do anything. Terrell Owens always talks how great he is but TO has Nothing on Moss. He is not a QB or a RB but a Kick off/Punt Return Devin Hester. This man is absolutely amazing. He is the next coming on Michael Jordan. He wears the same number and he does things on the field that no one else can do. He has even stunned the best kick off/Punt returner of all time Deion Sanders. Deion has said that he is the new Prime Time and is better than Him. That is amazing. To come from a man who thought he was the best of all time. So what do you think? Is he better or not? NCAA Football Round up.

The BCS Bowl games are going to be picked here in a couple of weeks. There is only two teams that are still undefeated. Hawaii and Kansas. But that doesn't mean anything to the computer that will set the national championship game. Kansas has it toughest test of the season when they play a 9 and 1 Missouri team, with the winner going to the Big 12 title game. Hawaii really has not played any competition so they will not be in. I would love to see the game as it could be a surprised to everyone.

I am really looking forward to the games coming up in December and January. I love watching the conference Championship games. With these games you get to see players actually trying to play hard for the love of the game. These kids are playing to prove they are good enough to be in the NFL. Movie Review: SiCKO

After watching Micheal Moore's other two movies, I decided that it was time to look into his next one. What I like about the first two is that he is not scared to express his thoughts and feelings. I love how he really does his research. Some things I do not agree with him on, but I feel his side is showing the bad and negative of America. In Fahrenheit 9/11 he portrayed that the President of are country aided to the attacks on 9/11. He lays it on the line and is not scared to tell the people who it is.

Sicko really hit home because I have seen how healthcare is in America. Why is it fair for Canada, England and France to charge nothing for healthcare and they are getting better care. I would much rather pay higher taxes to get better care. Plus they are getting free prescriptions, that would really put money back in my pocket. Also, in Cuba, a communist country, they are receiving better heathcare than in the US and it is free. How long is America go to keep giving in to these money eaters? What would you do if a member of your family got sick and was denied care cause they were out of coverage?

Playing Not to Lose, “Can I get a definition please?”

As I watched football I heard the commentator’s use the term playing not to lose. This made me wonder, what are they talking about? I have seen team that look like they are playing against the clock, but never are playing to lose the game. I did a search on it on google.com and found that it means to play conservatively when you have a lead in a game. I feel there could be more meaning to that term. I think that the meaning could be you know that you have a good team, but you as a coach are holding them out of playing up to the teams full capability.

I feel that if you are as competitive as I am you play the game to win all of the time. I feel that teams that play not to lose, could face a greater team and they are going to get run off the field. Playing to lose is not a good way to teach a team. If you tell a team ok we are going to play not to lose, I feel that your telling them we are not very good so we are going to go out here and prove that we are not and if we win good, if we lose that is ok too. No I hope my son is never taught that we are playing not to lose, instead I would like him to be taught that you go and give it your all and lose it is ok.

So there are my thoughts on playing not to lose. What do you think?

Seven weeks of the Season left and there is still One team that is Undefeated. The New England Patriots played a sluggish game last week and still one. I give my props to them for having 140 plus penalty yards and they are still able to pull out the Win. Now the Question come can they pull out an undefeated season? I do not think they can. Remember I said it first here, in the week 10 pick that on December 9th, when the Pittsburgh Steelers go to New England, the Patriots will lose there first game of the season. That WILL be my upset for that week.

I know it is a little past mid season, but I am going to give my mid season MVP, The winner if the season ended today is Randy Moss of the New England Patriots. If the Pittsburgh Steelers would of been 8 and 0 instead of 6 and 2 the mid season MVP would be Ben Roethlisberger. I am going out on a limb here but I have made a 5 dollar bet that the University of Illinois does not win more than 22 games in the regular season. I do think they are a well coached team, but they are young and do not have the experience that it takes to get over the top. Coach Weber is an OK Coach, My question is does he have what it takes to get them over the top? What big time recruit do they have to lead them. If someone steps up then maybe they have a shot. Notre Dame loses to Navy for the first time in 40 some years over the weekend. This now brings there record to 1 win and 8 loses. Should they say bye bye to Coach Weis the same way they did to Bob Davie and Tyrone Willingham? He is starting to approach the total loss record that sealed the fate of both of the former coaches. Coach Weis brought ND out of it funk with Willingham's recruits. Is he having the season that he is having because the shelf was left so empty? Does this show he cannot recruit? He was able to nab the number one QB in the nation and has gotten alot of blue chip recruits. I feel they should give him a couple of more years and if he keeps losing it is time for him to go. Do I have any Notre Dame fans out there that feel he should be fired? How long would you give him if he keeps losing? Who's fault is it that ND is not winning?

With it being Halloween I remember a game that the Chicago Bears played against the Green Bay Packers @ Soldiers field with it rain really bad and lighting too. It was a game that really put a explanation point on the day. There was fans dressed up and the players were playing like a pack of wolves on Defense. He is 39 years old and has not thrown a pass in the NFL since 2001. My question is why does the NFL keep giving chances to players that are way passed there Prime? George has played for many different teams and he cannot get along with team mates, Why do they keep bringing him in for a chance. I really home that someone breaks his leg, cause he is washed up. Joe Girardi has accepted the job as the manger of the New York Yankees. Girardi was offered the job over to great guys. Don Mattingly was a lot of the fans choices, Tony Pena is a great player motivator that can get a lot out of his players. The Yankees decided to pick experience over popularity. Girardi in my opinion is the better choice. Mattingly was an all around good player, but what experience does he have? Sure he has been with the Yankee the last couple of years as hitting instructor and bench coach. Girardi took the youngest team with the lowest payroll in baseball to an above 500 record and almost got them in the playoffs.

My feeling is Joe Girardi, knows the game well. He was a catcher so he will be able to judge his pitchers and when they are needed to be pulled. This also may help the Yankees bring back player such as Marino Rivera and Jorge Posada.

I will say it now Joe Girardi is going to win Manger of the Year next year and the Yankees are going to close down Yankee Stadium with another World Series Ring.

Since I was way off in the teams I felt would make it and win the world series I am going to release another guess on who I feel is going to win. Boston is a team that came back to win there series and Colorado cruised through theres. So It is a wild card versus a division winner. Boston has great pitching staff and Colorado comes out of no where to make it to the world series. So I think this is going to be a series for the ages. I feel that Boston is going to be a tough team to beat. So that said I am going with the Under dog. Colorado Rockies 4 games to 2.

Yankees Fans we will have a new manager in about 2 days I am thinking. But, the question I have is who will it be? I have a couple of people in Mind.

Joe Girardi- He was there catcher from 96 to 2000 so he knows what it is like in the Bronx. As he was manager of the year in 2006 with the Florida Marlins.

Don Mattingly- He bleeds Yankee blue. Was the first base for them until 1995. Never has won a world series. He has been the bench coach for 4 years and is George Steinbrenner's Choice for Mangers. ( That being said what the boss Say's goes.)

Lou Piniella- He also bleeds Yankee Blue. This is a Long Shot, since he is managing the Chicago Cubs. But don't count him out.

I have given you my choices any one else have an opinion let me know who your choice is?

The NFL Season is now 7 weeks old so it is time to look at the teams that do not have very good records and decide if they are going to keep there coach's or fire them and which will keep t here jobs.

Coaches on the Hot Seat:

ST Louis Rams: Record 0-7 the rams were supposed to compete for the division this year. THe only thing they will be completing for is who is going to lose the most games.
Coach: Scott Linehan, I do not think he will make it much farther with the losing record.

Miami Dolphins: Record 0-7 the dolphins are a team that is still trying to find there Identiy. They have a depleated back field. A young qb and and Old Defense.
Coach: Cam Cameron should be fired for such a sorry performance.

On the Bubble:

New York Jets: Record 1-6 the jets were supposed to be a playoff team again this year. They were just missing a running back. No body in new york can produce.
Coach: Eric Mangini will be allowed to stick at least one more year to turn it around.

Philadelphia Eagles: Record 2-4 A team that almost everybody said that they could have the tools to go to the superbowl. They have lost some close games that they really should of won.
Coach: Andy Reid with the off field trouble of his sons I feel that he has one foot out the door.

So there are the four teams I feel will be making a coaching change? Is there an others that you can think of? Or do you think I am crazy for saying these are the 4 on the hot seat.

College Aid Loans: Is there any Freedom from them.

When I was coming out of High School I was told College was supposed to be the best years of your life? I was always told that going to school will help you get a better job. I was never told that it could be really really expensive. I thought I would graduate high school and go to a big school, never worrying how much it would cost and live the college life. I figured that I would be able to get a lot of Grants and would of liked to try to get a scholarship. Was I wrong, I did get some grants but when I started I was not really sure what field I wanted to go into. I started down the path of education. Some of the classes were easy, but some of the material I was not understanding. Also, Coming from a small high school I was over whelmed. I didn't know anybody so I lost my drive to go to class. I ended up sleeping through classes and dropping class to take fun thinks. Finally it caught up to me.

Well if you miss to many classes they give on NO financial Aid. What I was not told was you have to attend a certain number of classes to get the help. The only thing that I knew was that I ad to have a certain GPA to keep it. Another thing they do not tell you is that if you drop a class it is counted against you also. So, being on Financial Aid Termination I was unable to play from my classes.

I had to take out a college aid loan through the bank to pay for classes. I was told that this money can be used to pay for books and supplies, They also do not tell you that you have to pay the interest every year. I used this money to go back and take the fun classes again, which did not help me get to the correct career path. It left me in big debt.

So I final make a decision to go to a littler smaller school, that was more expensive. Once again I used all the money I could from my first loan and grants and seemed to be enough for one semester. So once again I had to take out loans, this time they are federal loans, so you only get a certain amount. Plus, you get the extra cash if you have a bill that is all paid up. That is not told to you. So once again, finally have a college degree, but bigger loans to pay off. Also, one of them has interest building up on it that they do not tell you about.

Did you know that 8% of graduating seniors carried student loans of $40,000 or more in 2004, according the Project of Student debt. That is really scary that people are starting there career already in debt. So if you are starting a family you already have debt for the loan, plus you have a house payment or rent, and bills and if you plan to have kids there expensive also.

So the question I have is what do you do? Do you not go to school? Is there an easier way to pay them back?

Torre Turn's Down Yankee's !

After making the playoff for the past 12 season and going 4 and 2 in the world series, New Yankees Manager has turned down a deal that would make him the coach next season. He turned down a 5 million dollar deal that was 2.5 million less than his old deal, plus he was not guaranteed the 2009 season unless the team made the world series. To me this is bad. Joe Torre is everything the Yankees every want in a manger. He is calm Cool and collective. He has the New York/Gangster mystique. I would like to thank Joe for being able to see him manage the greatest team in baseball and let him know that he will be missed.

So where does this leave the Yankees? Who would you like to see them get to replace Torre?Also do they start the rebuilding process?

Has there ever been a time in your life were you had an argument with a friend or a family member, not knowing that this would be the last time you talk to them? Could you imagine the families that this happen to on September 11, 2001. The grief that the families are still going through. Some families are not able to function correctly, Some have been able to but they would never be the same.

In the movie "Reign Over Me" Adam Sandler plays a character that goes into deep depression after losing his family, who were on one of the planes that hit the World Trade Center. He run into his room mate from college who start helping get out of this depression. To me this moving was really moving. I could never imagine my life without my family. I don't want to give the whole movie away but depression is curable inf you let it be.

So How do you handle depression? Is there a way to over come the death of someone that you were mad at and they passed away?

In a few of my earlier post I have used the words from Star Wars "may the force be with you." Plus if you go to a couple of places, such as mybloglog.com, blogcatalog.com, you see that I use Yoda. When I started I wanted all of my blogs to have a catchy phrase, that was something that no body else was using so I decide that would be it. The last 10 to 15 posts I have not used it, but did anybody notice it? I am really not sure.

So today I decided to do a little research to see what the Force is. According to wikipedia it is explained in Star Wars episode 4 by Obi_Wan Kenobi as "an energy field created by all living things" that "surrounds us, penetrates us, and binds the galaxy together." In Start wars episode !: the Phantom Meance, Qui-Gon Jinn uses the term "living Force", which is a "high count of Microorganisms called Midi-chlorine's. The more Midi-chorians the greater the person's Force ability.

So in Closing I was wondering if anyone really thinks the force is real? Can someone be one with the force? Should I keep using the Statement "May the Force be with you"?

This is a quote is from a writer that is picking the bears to beat philly this weekend. I would have to agree with him. Devin Hester can do it all. He has returned a kickoff or a punt for a towndown 8 times in his two year career. He was drafted out of Miami by the Chicago Bears in 2006. He a Pro bowler in his rookie season as a kick returner.

This Season he is playing on the offensive side of the ball as a Wide Receiver. He could also line up at QB,RB and even Tight end. He is the first player in Madden history to have a speed of 100. He also wears a magically number 23 in Chicago.

Could he take the bears to the next level with all his talent? Is he the next coming of Prime Time Deion Sanders? What punt returner/kick off returner would you rate that is better than him?

Greg Oden goes down even before Practice start with a Season ending knee injury. Has Portland felt the wrath again. They pass on Kevin Durant, like the passed on Michael Jordan in 1983, for what they thought was the best player that would help them now instead of, who I felt would of been the bigger help down the rode in Durant. Seattle got a player in Kevin Durant that is absolutely amazing. Durant in my mind will be the next player that everyone compares to one of the legends.

Other rookie I will be following is the Chicago Bulls First Round Pick Joakim Noah. In my mind he was a over rated player on a great team. He did nothing to impress me. The only thing that stuck out was his wild hair. That is just my opinion though. He could be a great player with the bulls. I really feel the bulls are a player or 2 and a coaching change from winning another Championship.

What does everybody else think about the rookies? Who is the rookie player you are looking forward to watch playing? What team is the team to watch out for?

When I made my playoff predication a couple of weeks ago I really felt the cubs and Yankees were the team to beat. Boy was I wrong. I feel that since the Colorado Rockies are the hottest team in baseball. Any team that has won 20 of there last 21 games is a hot team. They have tied for the best record after 2 rounds with going 7 and 0. The question I have is how do they over come the 8 day lay off? I think they will they were not picked to win everything and they are close to winning it all. What ever American league team they play, I think they can beat them. So I am going to restate my claim. Rockies over Indians in 6. Man my brother is going to kill me LOL.

Week 6 in the NFL was the Steelers Bye week. I went nuts not seeing anything on the TV about the great Pittsburgh Steelers. I could of watched Superbowl 40 game again. I know that they need a bye week to rest the injured players. I think after watching them play Coach Tomlin was the right choice as coach. He fit the mold of the former Steeler Coaches. They play great on defense and the offense is starting to come around. What did you Steeler Fans out there do since they were not on TV? What is your thoughts and feelings of Coach Tomlin already? Do you think Ben has recovered fully from Last Season?

After watching the Dallas Cowboys make Tom Brady and the New England Patriots make mistakes and turn the ball over yesterday. I have come to the Conclusion that it is going to take a great Defense to beat them. What I mean is if the defense can get to Tom Brady then the wheels will fall off. Yesterday the way Dallas scored was by the defense making plays. One other thing that I noticed that if you keep there offense off the field long enough you can wear down there Defense. Everybody is saying they are going to go undefeated and win the Superbowl. I am one that even said they are going to win the Superbowl. But, I do not think they will go undefeated. The Team that will beat them will be the Pittsburgh Steelers on December 9th.

I feel that the Steelers have all the tools to beat them. They have the BEST Defense in the league. They are able to Run the ball and use the clock. Plus, they have a QB that is a great leader and he has done it before, by beating them in 2004 when they won 18 games straight.

I know I am crazy thinking this. But I am jumping back on the Bus to go to the Superbowl with the steelers. Ben Roethlisberger is leading the way. So watch out cause here we come. Does anyone out there think it will be someone else that beats the Patriots? Do you think they will go undefeated? Also, do think Brady breaks Peyton Manning's Record of 49 TD Passes?

NFL Week 6

Wow can anybody believe that the NFL is already 5 weeks old. This season has gone really fast. There have been some sure suprises this season. One would be the Eagles getting off to a bad start. Also the Chargers not playing like a team that finished 14 and 2 last season. Surprise winning teams would be the Pittsburgh Steelers starting off 4 and 1. and the Green Bay Packers, I felt they were going to have good years but wow. There division rivals are not playing very good football either. Lastly How bout them Cowboys. They get a true test this week, Tony Romo over comes 5 int's to lead his team to victory. Amazing, how many QB's can you say did that?

Now on to the week at hand. I am doing really bad. I went 3 wins and 2 loses bringing my total overall to 12 wins and 13 loses. I will get back up there and be over 500 before the end of the year. MVP for this week is Pittsburgh Steelser Najeh Davenport, he had 7 carries for 58 yards. Also he came up with the Heinz Field Hop.

The NCAA Basketball Practices start tonight and I was wondering who is the team and the player you are looking foward to see play? Also which team that had a big offseason in recruiting? Which Teams do you think will be overrated. Since the NBA has made the rules that the players have to play one year of college, alot of players are going to do the one and done thing. My feeling is why go to school for one year and then go pro and then get hurt? what do you have to fall back on when the money is gone. Nothing is what they have. They then turn to drugs and crime. That is not good. So I feel they should do what the NFL does and make the players wait until they are 3 years after there high school graduation day to go pro. I am really looking foward to watching College Basketball. I have become a really big fan of the Bradley Braves so I am ready to see how they do. Let me know what your thoughts are?

would consider trading his top player. I think he is absolutely crazy. Kobe is considered one of the greatest players of all time, and they would consider trading him. When the Lakers had Magic Johnson was there any talk of trading him? I think not. I am not a big Kobe Fan, but I think that the Lakers have a good young team to work with and need Kobe if they ever want to win another Championship in the next 10 years. I understand that it is business, but what if Jerry Krause would of said that he would listen to trades for Micheal Jordan? I would think the whole league would of put out a proposal to get MJ.

Role Models could be anyone. They could be a teacher,doctor, lawyer,actor,parent,aunt,uncle,grandparent or athlete. Mine would have to be the greatest basketball player ever, Michael Jordan. MJ has all the qualities I feel a role model should have. He is a great play and sets goals high. He acts professional in the public eye. Someone you can talk too and if they are a superstar they should not act like they are better than everyone else. Someone that is hard working and strives to achieve goals.

Michael Jordan is the hardest working person I know. I look up to him because he sets goals and achieves them. He is always up for any challenge. He has great family values and dresses and act professional in the public Eye. he worked hard for his money and everything else he has earned.

Michael Jordan was and still is the greatest basketball player of all time. I will look up to him and the way he conducted himself. I feel that if I was about 6'3" I could be like mike. I try to follow his work ethic, by being a great person to my family and setting goals for myself and achieving them. Who is your role Model? Why do you look up to this person? On June 25, 2007 World Wrestling Entertainment Wrestler, Chris Benoit committed suicide after killing both his wife and child. The Cause of this was not considered to be Roid Rage because there was no GHB found in his system, but his dad felt it was do to all the shots in the head he had taken. Test had revealed that his brain was so severely damaged it resembled the brain of an 85 year old Alzheimer’s pt. It also showed advanced form of Dementia similar to the brains of the four retired NFL players that suffered severe concussions, sank into depression and harmed themselves or others. I do think it may have been from the shots in the head, but why kill your own family. Friend Chris Jericho stated that he felt Benoit was Battling a private battle with a mental illness. WWE is also stating that he had passed a drug test in April of 2007. I bet he figured he would not get another test for a while so it was ok to do this.

Looking back when this first happen I thought it may be a work for a new angle in the WWE. The More I read about it the more I had to realize that this was reality. I thought how someone in the spotlight of people could do something so bad. Then it came out that he was doing massive amounts of steroids, Xanax, Hydrocodone in his system. They also found large amounts of Xanax, Hydrocodone, and hydromorphone, in the system of his wife and son. He also sent weird text message to his friends letting them know that his dogs were outside in the garage area.

I have seen Chris Benoit wrestle a couple of times. He could put on a great act. He wasn’t the biggest or the fastest guy, but he knew how to work the crowd. He could have been known for taking Wrestling to new heights as he was a member of the elite four horseman, and he even held the WWE World title. Lots of kids looked up to him. This kids that fell that wrestling is real are having a hard time understanding what is going on. I could not imagine what to tell my son if he were to be able to follow what was going on.

So did Chris Beniot just lose it or was the head shots the cause of his death? How do you explain the loss to your kids? Do you think Steroids played a factor in this case? Can the WWE be blamed for this also? Please leave your thoughts and feeling on this matter?

Britney Share the Same Fate as Princess DI!

Will Britney Spears die the same way that Princess Di did 10 years ago? I would have to think so because she is constantly mobbed by the Paparazzi and they will not leave her alone. Princess Di was also done the same way. There are people out there that believe that the Princess was killed because the driver of her care was intoxicated and driving at an extremely high speed. I feel that he would not of been driving so fast if the Paparazzi was not chasing them. If she would have been left alone her son's could of groin up with there Mom Present. Instead they have to see the horrific pic's of the crash that are out there and relive every moment again and again. I could not image growing up like Prince William and Harry have without there mother.

Britney has a shrine in her house of Princess DI. She would also like to have a replica of the Wedding dress that DI wore when she married Prince Charles. A lot of her close friends are worried that she is headed down the same path. She is always mobbed by the press, stories about the bad things she has done. But, also she has two little boys that would be without a mother if something happened to her. In the Paparzzi Eye all the time.

So if it were to happen and she was to die in a car crash, would it be the paparazzi fault? Is the person that is driving her around fault? She could also be to blame. Would Elton John write a song for her? What are your thoughts Feelings.

Week 4 was not a good week for me. I was 1 and 4 once again. Bringing my overall record to 9 wins and 11 loses. I need to get better at my choices. I have not really got to look at the games this week cause I have been interested in the baseball playoffs. I am definitely one of those last minute Christmas shoppers! This year, I think I might try something else. I found a Black Friday site that allows you to view all of the after Thanksgiving ads before “Black Friday.” How awesome is that? You can even purchase it all online, no more waiting in hot, muggy stores at 5 a.m. the day after Thanksgiving.

I am definitely going to check out Dick's Sporting Goods I can not wait to see what deals they have. Now you know I love sports, and this store is massive! I could spend hours there! So just by finding out what sales they are having before hand, is just making my day! My wife is also getting excite knowing all the toys she can buy before hand on the other sites they are offering, yikes!

New pair of Nike’s, CHECK, new Steelers Jersey, CHECK, new basketball, CHECK. Oops…. That was my wish list, hehe. But, of course, my wife and daughters (and son) would love what I brought them home from there, hehe!

A Detroit radio station was holding a contest to guess "when Britney Spears will end her life" and "How she will do it". The Reason behind it is her and K Fed got Divorced, she has lost her kids and her career is in the toliet, who wouldnt think of suicide? The Winner of the contest would of gotten one thousand dollars. This was posted on there web site and the host of the DJ Big Boy Show announced on the radio Tuesday night. The Radio Station has pulled there add off of there web site,cancelled the contest and have sent out an apology.This is something that goes against the First Amendment. They did no harm. It is not like they went out and said they were going to kill her. I think that if this gets people to listen to there show it is great sale. What if this does really happen? If you were given the chance to enter the contest how would you of predicted it? Is this Sick that someone actually put it out there as a joke?Also, where do people cross the line from Jokes to Reality?

This goes out to all the people out there that Hate the Yankees. I have heard people call them the evil empire. The Store bought championship team. Also heard them called the billionaire club. I do not see how you can hate a team that likes players that win! I have been a Yankee fan for a long time and they have not won anything since getting these high paid players, the titles they won were from players that were from there minor league system. The team is not winning games by paying the players what they pay them, they have won the titles because they are a well managed team. Joe Torre has been the main reason. Also, they have a team leader in Derek Jeter that wears the Yankee uniform with pride. He is to the Yankees the same as Michael Jordan was to the Chicago Bulls. I know that Torre Manged other teams and couldn't win, but he did not have the bench coaches and the players that worked well together. It is a team game people. The reason they got hot at the end of the year is not ONE Player. IT is cause the all came together and started playing good. So the question I ask is why do you hate the Yankees so much? ALDS Series ONE: Los Angeles Angels vs. Boston Red Sox. (3-2 Boston Wins.)
Boston was the winner in the AL East and had a dog fight holding on to the lead in the finally games of the season.Los Angeles played really well all year and they have a great manager that know how to win. I think this is going to be a good series with Boston pulling it out narrowly.
ALDS Series Two: New York Yankees vs. Cleveland Indians. (3-1 New York Wins)
My brother is going to kill me on this one. Cleveland was won the division 2 weeks ago and it is hard to get the motor going again. I think Cleveland will take the first game at the Mistake by the lake, but the Yankees have more experience and that is what is going to help them win the series.
ALCS Series: New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox's (4-2 New York Wins)
Yankees Vs Sox again. I know this one is getting old. I Believe this is the best rivalry in baseball. The Red Sox have really played bad down the stretch and the Yankees are playing like a team on a mission.
NLDS Series ONE: Colorado Rockies vs. Philadelphia Phillies (3-2 Colorado Wins)
Two of the hottest teams in baseball meet up in the first round. Colorado has not been to the playoff for 12 years. Philly came back from 7 games down to win the Division. Who has enough gas to win the series. I think Colorado will pull this one out in five, but all the game will be really close.
NLDS Series Two: Chicago Cubs vs. Arizona Diamondbacks (3-0 Chicago Wins)
If the cubs get there bats going and the pitching is really good. This could happen. Arizona has a young ball club. The Cubs of the Curse of the Goat and Steve Bartman. I feel the Cubs are going to sweeps the diamondback.
NLCS Series: Colorado Rockies vs. Chicago Cubs (4-2 Chicago Wins)
In 2003 the Cubs were 5 outs away from the world series. But that was a completely different team. This team has a Great Manager who does not believe in Curses and know how to use his pitching staff.

World Series: Chicago Cubs vs. New York Yankees
I have put the winners next to the prior games, but this is a toss up. Due I go for my Favorite team or do I go for the Lovable Losers?Both teams started out cold and got hot. Both Teams have Great Managers. So what do I do. I am going to have to go with the CUBS. My gut is telling me that it could be another 100 years before they get back. (4-3 CUBS WIN!!) Holy Cow!!

I have been reading in the news the last couple of days of the battles between Microsoft and Google. Google has been in production of its own Office product in the past year. From what I have read it is better that Microsoft products. Google also has had a better product with there search engine. They have also, created a email system and are working on an instant messaging system that could be better than Microsoft's IM. Microsoft has combined there IM with Yahoo, trying to gain some market control. Microsoft also has taken a page out of google's and started making there office product like a web base program. The have also in the last couple of weeks decided to get into the Internet community business. They have bought out Face book and now are trying to make a run at the famous My Space. My Space started as a small community for the kids in a California town and has grown into a monster. How can anybody compete with them?

Next Up Sony versus Microsoft. I was reading today that Sony may release a PS3 with a 40 gig hard drive for $399 to go into the holiday battle. Microsoft Xbox 360 is doing a package issue. Here we go again Microsoft battling to rule the world. I would much rather have a PS3. The reason is Sony has been doing the gaming systems for a long time. I have owned a Playstation from the beginning and have never had a problem with them. I also feel the game play is better. Plus, the controller is better. I have lots of people telling me no buy and Xbox, but I have heard from a couple of people that there has been lots of problems with it. In the end I have a feeling Blue Ray is going to Win. So There is a couple of examples of Battles that I have seen. What do you think? Any interesting battles that you have come across? What is your program of Choice? What is your video game system of choice and why?
